Through IM, users are able to view all other users who are logged into the Lumenation Hyper-Portal and communicate with them in a secure environment. Lumen IM also keeps a history of all communications. IM is an efficient means of secure communication within a District. Only users that are logged in are recognized on the system and outside instant messenger services cannot be attached to the system. With the historical tracking, users and the administration are assured that the system will be used in an efficient and judicious manner. |
