(ICT), leadership in education has an opportunity to utilize Lumenation
Hyper-Portal technology and the Crisis Management application to
automate much of your organizations crisis management plan. Upon an
incident occurring, simply activate the system and the entire
pre-defined plan automatically starts performing the tasks assigned to
that Crisis plan. These action plans include;
- Automatic
notification of specific individuals, or groups of individuals, outside
the organization of the incident, their instructions for the tasks they
are to perform and information on how to keep informed and communicate
information concerning the incident.

population the incident effects parent/guardian notification of what
has occurred, how they are to receive updates on the status of events

resources such as local, state, federal authorities, and family members
are able to securely access all critical information.
- Appropriate personnel could have on-line viewing of building plans and the ability to down load and print.
- Access to what students should be in a building and specific rooms.
- The system establishes a Student tracking System to journal the status of a student.
- Family
and External Organizations are able to maintain their own extensive
list of emergency #’s and contact lists. Organizations are able to keep
the appropriate contact staff updated and in the system.
