This is your first step towards experiencing one of the most robust, rapid development solutions for web based applications. Below is an outline of the process for obtaining your free Lumenation license and Developers Software Development Suite. NOTE: It is very important that you READ this entire page before registering as a member of the Development Support Portal. Information on this page allows you to download Lumenation v6.0 and all associated tools. This page outlines what you need to know to maximize your experience with the system. Lumenation Developers Support Portal STEP 1 : You must be a member of the Lumenation Developers Portal . This is a FREE membership . This membership provides you access to the different download procedures for the different Linux distributions to meet your specific needs. In addition, you will find:
From your Lumenation Developers Support Portal virtual desktop, we recommend you examine the Getting Started Guide, Lumenation Navigation Guide and the Email IC Quick Reference Guide. These reference guides will provide you with a basic understanding of the Lumenation environment. When you login to the Lumenation User Community Portal you are utilizing the Lumenation Environment and Lumen Interactive Desktop. Join the Lumenation Developers Portal and Download Lumenation v6.0 NOW! If you are already a member of the Lumenation Developer Portal click HERE to access your account. If you are NOT a member, please obtain your free membership by clicking HERE . Note: After you have registered for a membership an email will be sent to you from the system. If you do not receive this email it is possible your email system is blocking your ability to receive it. In this case send a request to help@lumensoftware.com. In the body of the email simply enter the text, "Not receiving my Lumenation Membership email". A customer support representative will then reply to your email which should then be allowed through your email system. Your membership information is necessary for providing your Lumenation licenses and information. Your information will not be distributed to any outside organization. Automatic LAMP+ and Lumenation Installation and Configuration Provided STEP 2: The Lumenation installation for select Linux distributions is a completely automated process which allows anyone regardless of their Linux experience to install the LAMP+ stack and Lumenation easily. You will launch and download the Lumenation environment directly from the Developers Support Portal. Lumenation's installation process both installs the LAMP stack and provides the configuration of all LAMP components and Lumenation. There are manual processes for other Linux distributions not automated at this time. Hardware Requirements Due to Lumenation's mature AJAX z-Windows engine, it is highly scalable and provides the scalability other system's are unable to achieve. For example, for up to 100 concurrent users, a single Xeon processor, 2 GB RAM and 100 MB's of hard drive space is all that is required to run the Lumenation environment. For larger deployments, Lumenation has been designed to be utilized in a clustered environment for high concurrent user requirements. After Installation of Lumenation STEP 3: Upon installing Lumenation you will be able to install the complete Lumenation SDK module and LightBulb from the Lumen Warehouse, as well as other modules.
