Lumen Software's virtual desktop is also a users dynamic data portal. Here the
user can access through Lumenation application and data
access security the applications they have access to. The system also controls
what type of access the user has through the application as
well, such as read only, add\edit and full. In addition , the
system also controls the data access rights of the user as
well. The system also restrict the user as to what information they can access
by Operational Unit (OU) or Virtual Operational Unit (VOU),
thus providing even more control of the appropriate access a user has to the

The user
experience is quite unique as well. Users are able to navigate on the virtual
desktop the same as they are used to on standard desktops, using the
right click for example to perform desktop functions, such create short
cuts to applications, modify properties, etc.
